Stone Creek Coffee and No Laying Up teamed up after SCC’s Drew Pond and NLU’s D.J. Piehowski became friends in 2022 over their shared love of both coffee and golf. Over the last few years, Drew has appeared on NLU's "Trap Draw" podcast twice to talk about coffee, which actually spawned the idea of a larger partnership.
Stone Creek Coffee now sponsers the Trap Draw podcast for the last year and supports NLU events with coffee service and/or tee gifts.
Summer '24 we started discussing a shared give-back initiative to benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation. Evans Scholarships grant full college tuition and housing for high-achieving caddies with limited financial means.
Over that fall, we donated 25% of the proceeds of sale from all NLU-themed products to the Evan Scholars Foundation. Stone Creek Coffee alone ended up donating $5,000. Thanks for supporting this initiative!
