Two regions, one coffee.

Bloom is a harmonious blend of two exceptional coffee-growing regions: Cajamarca, Peru, and Jinotega, Nicaragua. Each component brings its own unique story and character to the cup, creating a medium roast that is both balanced and vibrant. From the high-altitude farms of Cajamarca, where beans flourish between 1,400 and 2,000 meters above sea level, comes a coffee celebrated for its clarity and depth. The crisp Andean air and nutrient-rich soils allow the beans to ripen slowly, developing a natural sweetness and complexity. Paired with this is the Jinotega coffee, grown in the volcanic highlands of Nicaragua, often referred to as the land of lakes and volcanoes. At elevations of 1,100 to 1,400 meters, these beans have a smooth and approachable profile with a refined acidity that sets them apart from their regional counterparts.

Precision and artistry.

Both the Peruvian and Nicaraguan components are processed using traditional washed methods, ensuring a clean and consistent flavor profile. In Cajamarca, the beans are carefully selected from a mix of Caturra, Catimor, and Typica varietals, while the Jinotega contribution features Caturra, Catuai, Parainema, and Bourbon. This diversity of varietals adds layers of nuance to the blend, creating a coffee that is as dynamic as it is comforting. The washed process highlights the inherent brightness and clarity of the beans, allowing their natural flavors to shine.

How fresh is your coffee?

Our coffee is roasted fresh to order and ships within 24 hours to ensure peak flavor. For optimal taste, we recommend brewing between 4 and 21 days after the roast date—this allows the coffee to degas and fully develop. After that window, it will still taste great for several weeks (or more), especially if stored in a cool, airtight container.
